This Privacy Policy describes how dmreply ("we", "our", or "the app") handles information when you interact with our Instagram automation service.

1. What We Access

Our app connects to your Instagram Business account via the Meta Graph API. We access:

Your Instagram profile information (name, username, account ID)
Comments on your Instagram posts
Instagram Direct Messages sent to your account
Your connected Facebook Pages

2. How We Use This Information

We use this access solely to:

Read comments on your posts and detect trigger keywords
Automatically reply to comments on your behalf
Send Direct Messages to users who comment specific keywords

We do not sell, share, or use this data for any purpose beyond the automation features described above.

3. Data Storage

We store only the IDs of processed comments locally to avoid sending duplicate replies. No personal information about your followers is stored or retained. Access tokens are stored locally on your device and are never transmitted to any third-party server.

4. Third-Party Services

This app uses the Meta (Instagram) Graph API. Your use of Instagram is subject to Instagram's Privacy Policy and Meta's Terms of Service.

5. Data Retention

We do not retain any user data beyond what is necessary to operate the automation (comment IDs to prevent duplicate replies). You can delete this data at any time by deleting the local state.json file.

6. Your Rights

You may revoke this app's access to your Instagram account at any time by going to:

Instagram → Settings → Security → Apps and Websites
Or via your Facebook App Settings
